Two Day ToT training «Yoga for peace inside. Supporting resilience in Ukrainian parents and children»

Two Day Training of Trainers for Ukrainian group facilitators ( Ukrainian community facilitators, Ukrainian teachers who teach Ukrainian students in Romania; Romanian teachers who are currently teaching Ukrainian refugee students, social workers)

AMURTEL Romania is pleased to offer a Training of Trainers in Innovative Yoga Based Techniques to Build Resiliency in Ukrainian refugees.  Didi Deshaies, an international trainer for AMURTEL,  will be leading the two-day interactive workshop designed for people who are directly involved in working with Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their country as a result of the war.

This is an opportunity for those who work directly with Ukrainians to receive direct
training and guidance on how to support resilience in Ukrainian parents and children. The main
focus is on understanding our own reactions to stress, as well as that of parents and their children. With the help of
the techniques offered at the training, participants will be able to address some of the new challenges and problems
that refugee children face, such as being in an unfamiliar foreign country, longing for friends and
family, wanting to return home, learning a new language, making new friends, developmental
regression, fear, aggressiveness, as well as many other challenges or behaviours typical of
children that have been displaced. Participants will receive a free PSS facilitator’s guide that was developed
by AMURTEL Romania.
