Visual artists and musicians, including the semifinalist at The Voice Romania – Raluca Radu, will generously participate at Casa Mincu – OAR Garden, on April 13, starting at 16:00, at the first edition of the charity event “ART from the HEART”, in order to raise the necessary funds to buy a minibus on which the 12 children of “AMURTEL Family” depend.

AMURTEL Romania Aid Association provides care for children like G., who came 7 years ago for protection, together with his older brother, after his mother arrived at the hospital with a broken leg due to domestic violence. All 12 children need safety, love and hope after being scarred by similar situations of neglect or abuse. The house is located in the small rural village of Pănătău, far from supermarkets, doctors and other vital services to keep the children well cared for, so a suitable car is essential for them. Currently, the Center’s Dacia Logan is falling apart, needing constant repairs to keep it running.
“Together with my plastic artist friends, people who generate beauty and emotions through their work, we are trying to do good for some children through these donations. Children, beauty and goodness go hand in hand”, Răzvan Circă, the curator of the ART from the HEART exhibition, tells us.
The concept of the “ART from the HEART” event is that art nourishes the soul and opens the hearts of people willing to help. We are calling on friends of the AMURTEL family, lovers of art and culture, but with a big heart, to raise the necessary funds to buy a minibus worth 10,000 euros. The participants of the event will go home with a work of art signed by an established Romanian artist, but also with the fulfillment of having contributed to a better life for the 12 children in need.

The artists who generously offer their art at the charity event on April 13 are: Vali Irina Ciobanu, Gheorghe Coman, Mihail Gavril, Constantin Grigoruță, Maria Magdalena Ienci, Lucia Juncu, Maria Jardă, Mircea Nechita, Elena Popa, Corneliu Drăgan Târgoviște, Vitalie Butescuși Carmen Vaideanu.
The collage artists who donate their art to the AMURTEL family and their works for auction: Cristiana Bucureci, Cristian Fierbințeanu, Alexandra Grigore, Cristina Gârlesteanu, Florentin Logigan, Ruxandra Nicolae, Livia Marinescu, Melinda Rus, Andrei Stan, and Teodora Vărzaru.
Raluca Radu, semi-finalist at The Voice Romania 2023, will provide a special musical moment of folk jazz alongside the guitarist Alexandru Mișu.

The AMURTEL family from Pănătău, Buzău county offers a loving, warm and healing home to children whose parents were unable to care for them. Although it is not possible to ever erase the painful history of a child, together we can rewrite his future”, confesses Didi A. Devapriya, president of AMURTEL Romania.

TICKET PRICE: the cost of a ticket to the charity event is 150 RON. But the amount covers the costs of organizing the event, such as catering, space rental and the artistic program, but it does not contribute to raising funds for the purchase of the car that is the purpose of the event.
