AMURTEL’s activity at the Siret border with Ukraine, reported by Digi24

Digi24, a national news channel, reports the activity of AMURTEL Romania at the Siret border

On Friday, March 18th, Didi and Melinda, our emergency psychologist, were interviewed by Digi24, which included a piece in the news about the psychological support AMURTEL is offering to refugee children and also to the volunteers to release some of their stress so that they can better serve the refugees, thanks to the financial support of CARE France, and many individual donors through our crowdfunding campaigns.

Besides, AMURTEL created the website to facilitate good communication and cooperation between services offered by all of the NGOs present at the border. Here it is possible to find out all of the different organizations present, where they are located, what they do, and news from coordination meetings. In addition, there are resources for sharing with refugees, and useful information about core humanitarian standards and specifics to the Siret border point response to help support all volunteers to work well in this context.

It is very inspiring to see the outpouring of love and how well, effectively, and unitedly the Romanians and the government have responded to the flood of refugees entering the country. Would you contribute to our mission to ensure Ukrainian refugee kids and volunteers with the support they need?
