Program pentru copii cu vârsta cuprinse între 3-8 ani, inclusiv copii care nu sunt inscris în anul scolar.

Un vorbitor nativ de limba engleză va crea o experiența “full-immersion”. Astfel, în mod firesc, va interacționa în timpul de joacă, în piscină, în curte, la picnicuri şi excursii în limba engleză.

Părinții pot plăti lunar sau pe zi, fiind astfel o alegere flexibilă.

A sosit Mos Craciun, cu darurile mult asteptate. Anul acesta prezenta mosului a fost una senzationala ca de fiecare data. Copiii si parintii au fost purtati pe meleagurile de la Polul Nord si au ascultat povestile despre copiii pe care i-a intalnit pana sa ajunga la noi. Mosul a fost foarte bucuros sa gaseaseasca asa copii cumintii si i-a rasplatit cu cadouri si biscuiti fermecati, care au aparut prin magie dintr-un pumn de sare si  un biscuite. Mosul a mai facut sa apara si alte lucruri, incantand pe toata lumea.

Acum cand iarna s-a asternut, cand toate sufletele se bucura de fiecare mica sau mare realizare invata din tot ce au trait, ca putem deveni mai buni, mai frumosi, mai intelepti.

Printul Fermecat de la Gradinita Rasarit pe Tinereţe.

Piesa de teatru “Printul Fermecat” a adus multe zambete pe fetele parintilor si mult amuzament pentru copii. De satisfactia educatorilor care au lucrat cu ei nici nu mai incape vorba. Performanta copiilor le-a umplut sufletul de mandrie si fericire, deoarece copii, dar si parintii, bunicii si educatorii, stapani pe tainele creatiei, si-au acordat lira pentru ca din ea sa izvorasca sunetele cele mai pure  care sa sensibilizeze sufletul fiecarui copil in parte si pe cel al copilului din noi – oamenii mari.

The Autumn Fairy, wearing her colorful clothes has come to Gradinita Rasarit! She has covered the ground with a carpet of golden leaves. Hardworking as usual, she has taught us how to make pickles, cakes, and to play with the riches of the autumn harvest. As the Autumn Fairy has arrived, we have also prepared a surprise for parents, grandparents, and our other friends – we are pleased to invite you to our annual Autumn Bazaar! There will be an exposition of crafts made by the children to celebrate the season. The festival will begin at 16.30, Tuesday at Gradinita Rasarit in Bucuresti noi and at 16.30 on Friday at the Mihai Bravu location. We will surprise you with a program full of games and fun activities in romanian and english. There will be many surprises for both parents and little ones!

Our kindergartens are open for enrollments! Please come and visit our newly renovated kindergartens! Gradinita Rasarit 1 (near to Parcul Bazilescu Sector 1) has a new dormitory, dining room and medical office. It also has a new facade, and newly tiled courtyard. Gradinita Rasarit 2 (in the Mall Vitan zone) has a new fence and facade, as well as a newly renovated play house and has been freshly repainted. We have a wonderful team of teachers waiting to welcome you and your child!

Diversity Day 2009: The Roma People from Grădiniţa Răsărit on Vimeo.

Children below six are full of joy and they can easily feel empathy and spontaneous love for all those around them. It is also a very impressionable age in which they are absorbing basic beliefs and attitudes about themselves, others and the world around them. In this formative period, children absorb many prejudices, directly from the verbal and nonverbal messages they receive from their surroundings.

Neo humanist Education makes a special effort to challenge stereotypes and prejudices and awaken empathy in children for minorities, special needs and all types of human diversity.

This year a special program was organized to recognize and appreciate the Roma minority in Romania.

The teachers designed interactive stories with Roma characters – both in roles of heros and in situations of discrimination, to give opportunities for the children to identify and empathize with the characters and discuss. Iulia, our project manager, has a Roma heritage, and came to participate in the circle time as well, sharing pictures from her family and childhood. The children discovered that her favorite color was red, she enjoyed the same games and songs like they did. They also felt sad when they heard how some children had hurt her feelings when they didn’t want to play with her because she was Roma. They acted out a role play of a similar situation in which they defended the Roma child. One of the keys to overcoming prejudices is friendship. When we have a friend we love, it is difficult to continue to generalize and stereotype.

The program culminated with a special festive Roma Day. The children dressed in Roma costumes, played instruments, made crafts, and danced to traditional Roma music. The Elf family prepared a mimed theater based on one of the stories they had discussed about a Roma girl who becomes a ballerina. (see the video section to watch “Ballerina Caterina”) They watched a video about a small Roma boy going to school with a clay cart he made to tell about the history of the Roma people – and the video includes a clay-mation of the emigration of the Roma from India towards the west. Following the video, the children acted out the same voyage (in the video clip above).

The children in both kindergartens prepared unique theater presentations for the parents for our Winter Celebration. The small children prepared a theater based on a neo-humanist story called the Magic Heart Crystal and the big children made a theater where they re-enacted memorable scenes from the past year of activities in the school, preparing to greet the New Year 2009 with enthusiasm. The piece involved dance, mime, poetry and songs and was created in collaboration with the children themselves, so that it would reflect their own creativity and imagination. In Rasarit Nr. 1 a very special Santa Claus came all the way from Finland – carrying an umbrella because he found rain instead of snow in Romania. He told stories and performed magic tricks that enchanted both children and parents alike.

Our annual “Autumn Bazaar”, one of the traditions of our kindergartens was held in the first week of November. The weather was chilly and rainy in Gradinita Rasarit (MB) and held indoors, but the weather was sunny and crisp in Gradinita Rasarit (BN) and there the courtyard was transformed into an open air market. Parents were the “customers” and the children were very proud and excited to play their roles of “sellers”. They had been busy for several weeks, making many crafts as well as jam, pickles and sweets for the Bazaar. It is also the time of year when we talk about Romania, and Romanian traditions. The children dressed in traditional costumes and in the MB kindergarten they also performed traditional dances for the parents. The events ended with a “tombolo” – a toy-exchange raffle.
